nearby Point Curlew and Maribou Park, both within easy walking distance,
also offer alternative venues for a drink or a meal. The estate is ideally
located for exploring beautiful North Cornwall and is only half an hour's
drive from the Eden Project. The picturesque town of Padstow having
shops, restaurants and galleries is just three to four miles. Bikes may
be hired in Padstow to allow you to explore the Camel estuary, an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty, by following the off-road route of the old
railway line between Padstow and Bodmin. However, even closer to home,
the village of St Merryn has pubs, restaurants, takeaways and food stores
so your every day needs are catered for within a mile or so.
