small garden; a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding
countryside, coastal paths and the quaint fishing town of Padstow only a
mile away. Padstow also has a number of local shops and a supermarket,
catering for all day to day needs. The north coast provides some of the
most spectacular and rugged coastal scenery in Cornwall as well as superb
bathing and surfing beaches. The Camel Trail follows the line of the old
railway from Padstow to Bodmin and provides a level path ideal for cycling
or walking. A passenger ferry from Padstow can take you across the
estuary to the waterside resort of Rock. Newquay airport is only a short
distance away and provides regular flights to London Gatwick, Glasgow and
other UK destinations.
