The owners used
flair and imagination when decorating and furnishing this modern terraced
cottage to make best use of its potential. Crisp white decor with a
mixture of both modern and traditional furniture and a gas ‘coal-burning
effect’ stove combine to create a cosy, well equipped, but uncluttered
home. Countryside views and a pretty little garden complete the picture. A
large selection of videos, books and games ensures that even the odd rainy
day will not matter too much. Sarah's View is 5 minutes walk from the
Camel Trail which follows the route of the old railway track to Bodmin -
now a popular trail for cyclists and walkers and offering some wonderful
scenery along the way. Padstow has a number of recommended restaurants
(including, of course, Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant) and lots of
interesting shops and galleries. The centre of the town is only a 10
minute walk (but uphill coming back!) – great for a stroll out in the
evening for a drink or a meal. There are some wonderful beaches just a
few miles away and Padstow is ideally placed for exploring the whole of
Cornwall.
