TO BOOK

Search for the perfect holiday cottage
You can use the "Quick Search" box in the top lefthand corner to find the property you want (use "More options" to narrow down your search).  Alternatively browse through our properties using the "BROWSE PROPERTIES" menu to the left or the additional menus at the foot of the page.      

Once you have found the perfect cottage...

Check availability:
Use the Tariff and Availability calendar on the property details page to check that the period you want is available.

To book a whole week:
Click the ‘Book now' button next to the week you want and then complete the online reservation form.

To book a short break:
Click the ‘Enquire' button just underneath the Tariff and Availability calendar. (Note that short breaks can only be taken at certain times of year.)
Please make sure that you have read the booking conditions before proceeding with your booking.

What happens next?
Once you have sent your booking request or short break enquiry you will receive an email acknowledgement.

We will confirm the details of your reservation shortly after and (assuming there are no queries) you will be invited to make payment by credit or debit card.

Reservations are held for a maximum of 48 hours.  The exception to this is when the reservation is made 3 weeks or less before the holiday in which case it can only be held for 24 hours.


YOUR ENQUIRERS REFERENCE NUMBER

This is your own unique number which you will have been given if you booked with us or have received a brochure from us in recent years. (You should find it on the booking form which came with the brochure.)


MAKING PAYMENT

Deposit
If you are booking 8 weeks or more before the holiday then we require a 25% deposit to be paid at the time of booking.

Balance payment
The balance of rent due on your booking is required 8 weeks before the holiday. We do not send reminders so do make a diary note to get this payment to us in time. Your holiday is in danger of being cancelled if we do not receive your payment by the due date.

Full payment
If you are booking the holiday 8 weeks or less before the start date of the holiday then we require payment of the full amount of the rent at the time of booking.

Damage Deposit
Any damage deposit or special damage deposit payable should be included with your balance or full payment. The damage deposit will be returned to you shortly after your departure (assuming, of course, that there are no deductions to be made).

Bank transfers

If you choose to pay by bank transfer you MUST inform us of every transfer you make and the reference you use.


Please contact us for our bank details to make payment for your holiday.


Reference:
  Please use your booking number followed by the cottage name followed by the surname of the person in whose name the booking was made. For example "12345 Baxters Cottage Smith" or as much of this as you can fit!


Card payments

There is a surcharge of 2% on all card payments made by credit card or non-UK debit card. There is no such surcharge on card payments made by UK debit card. Note that we are unable to accept payment by American Express or Diners cards.
