All you have to do to get to the beach when you stay at Boatman's Loft is
to cross the road and walk down the steps to Whipsiderry Beach or walk a
few hundred yards to the larger Porth beach. It is also only a mile from
the spectacular Watergate Bay, host to Jamie Oliver’s new 15 restaurant
and also the Extreme Academy where you can learn to surf, kitesurf,
waveski and mountainboard; two hour to two day courses are available.
Boatman's Loft is a newly converted apartment attractively finished and
well equipped; ideal for families and couples. Pubs and restaurants are
within easy walking distance and for spectacular scenery you only have to
step across the road onto the South West Coast Path. A bus service passes
the property which takes you into Newquay (about a mile and a half) or
Padstow in the opposite direction. Newquay is a popular and lively family
resort offering shops, restaurants and night life. The historic fishing
port of Padstow has galleries and seafood restaurants.

barbecue and drying area.
