Bijou Cottage is an
enchanting single storey stone and slate cottage with lots of character
including vaulted beamed ceilings and rough plastered walls. A haven from
the hustle and bustle of modern living, the cottage is located in the
peaceful hamlet of Tregatillian, in beautiful countryside about 1 mile
from the small market town of St. Columb Major, but within easy striking
distance of beaches (15-20 minutes’ drive).
Gourmets will also be
delighted to know that Jamie Oliver has opened a new Fifteen restaurant at
nearby Watergate Bay. The
whole of this pretty cottage is open plan (except the bathroom and hall)
but the bedroom area is within an alcove with a net curtain for privacy.
These cottages are ideally located for exploring Cornwall being only 5
minutes’ drive from the A30, so a trip to Tate St. Ives is less than an
hour away and the Eden Project about 20 minutes.
