Armsyde is a large, three storey, 18th century town house, situated in the
heart of old Padstow. A former sea merchant's house, it has been
renovated and decorated in a style in keeping with the character and age
of the house. Armsyde has a wonderfully spacious interior with charm and
many original features. The six double bedrooms are each furnished in an
individual style; five have t.v.s and four of them have en suite
facilities. This is an ideal property for two families or sets of friends
to spend time together. Adults and children alike will enjoy the two
separate sitting rooms. Visitors will be delighted that the property is
just a short stroll from the harbour, shops, pubs, restaurants (including
Rick Steins) and the Camel Trail, yet away from the hustle and bustle of
the central area. The historic fishing port remains largely unspoilt and
the townspeople like to keep it that way. Within easy striking distance
are magnificent walks along the coastal footpaths and just a few miles
down the coast are some of the finest beaches in Cornwall; a number
absolutely ideal for surfing the rolling Atlantic breakers.
