Comments from visitors to Apartment 3 at Merlin
A
brand new luxury apartment only a mile from the sandy surfing beach and
spectacular coastline at Mawgan Porth. The apartment is situated above
the club house to Merlin Golf and Country Club which has a beautiful
hilltop heathland golf course designed for beginners and more experienced
golfers wanting to enjoy a relaxed game in the fresh coastal air.
Included with your apartment is free golf from October to May, and for
June, July, August and September the first game is free with all
subsequent games half price. The more adventurous may enjoy the Extreme
Academy at Watergate Bay (3 miles) for surfing, kite surfing or even wave
skiing. Gourmets are spoilt for choice with Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen
Cornwall at Watergate Bay, Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant and a number of
others at Padstow and St Merryn, as well as a discount at the Treglos
Hotel restaurant at nearby Constantine Bay. Also why not take advantage
of the facilities at the Treglos Hotel including use of the heated indoor
pool. The night life of Newquay is 6 miles and the pretty fishing village
of Padstow is only 8 miles in the other direction. In addition to the
comfortable lounge, bar areas and restaurant with exciting menus at Merlin
there is a pub and restaurant in Mawgan Porth. Newquay airport is only 4
miles away and you can book a hire car from the airport.
