Once the Rosehill Country Club, this property stands near the top of the hill above the village and consequently has glorious views over open countryside to St. Issey church and beyond.  The owners have converted the building with flair and imagination and many original features remain including the bar which is still available for residents’ use and to which, obviously, all occupants are very welcome.  The bar has t.v., dart board, games, cards and the terrace just outside has picnic benches taking advantage of the views.  What a great way of relaxing after your journey and unpacking - just walk 20 yards to down a pint and admire the view!

The character village of Little Petherick, which derives its name from 'little Padstow', is tucked away in a quiet valley formed by a creek which flows into the river Camel and along which follows the Saints Way, an ancient footpath linking Padstow to Fowey on the South Coast.  Footpaths on both sides of the creek lead on to the Camel Trail just on the outskirts of Padstow by the Iron Bridge.  The Trail follows the line of the old railway track between Padstow and Bodmin via Wadebridge and much of its length (now used for walking or cycling) lies beside the Camel estuary - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The historic fishing town of Padstow, having a number of seafood restaurants and interesting shops, is only two miles and you are just a short drive to a number of glorious sandy beaches.

This ground floor apartment is great for entertaining since it has a lovely large kitchen and spacious separate dining room with two extra chairs.  This, and the two good sized bedrooms, gives the property a spacious and welcoming feel, creating a roomy and comfortable home from home.  A good-sized decked area outside the front door has garden furniture where you can sit and admire the countryside views.

ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR: Entrance door into small porch leads into Kitchen built in electric oven and hob, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, extractor hood, reclaimed pine units with wooden worktops Dining room (internal) dark wood furniture comprising oval table, 4 chairs, 2 carvers, small sideboard, corner display cabinet.  From dining room step up to Bed.2 twin beds (3').  From kitchen archway leads to  Lounge Two three seater settees, occasional tables, display cabinet, combi t.v./video, cd/cassette/radio.  Off lounge a small  Bathroom  bath, (shower over off mixer taps), basin, w.c. and  Bed.1  double bed (4'6"). (All Bedrooms bedside units, chest of drawers or shelving and hanging space plus a safe in one of the wardrobes), hair driers  Laundry - Laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier available for the use of all apartment occupants GARDEN & PARKING: Very large car park shared by all apartments.
