both from the upstairs living room and the spacious decking on the edge of
the creek -just the place for a relaxing, tranquil stay at any time of
year. It is wonderful to think that the lane passing your front door is
part of the Saints Way, which dates back over 1,500 years and was once
used by Celtic monks. The Saints Way provides fantastic views along the
way and is also rich in wildlife - it is a great favourite with walkers.
Little Petherick Creek is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding
Natural Beauty and the stream leads into the estuary of the River Camel
the whole of which is a haven for birds. Families are well served with a
number of stunningly beautiful sandy beaches – some great for surfing -
all within 5 miles or less and gourmets have a real treat in store in
Padstow, only a couple of miles away, home to Rick Stein’s Seafood
Restaurant, and a number of other award winning outlets from restaurants
to pasty shops.
