A character cottage located in a quiet spot in the heart of the old town. Sympathetically modernised, many original features have been preserved; beamed ceilings, stone fireplaces and stripped doors and floorboards, all beautifully complemented by painted furniture in a 'distressed' style. The result is a truly charming and comfortable home and delight to come home to after a day on the beach or a bracing walk on the cliff path in a force 9 gale! 14 Cross Street is ideal for walking into the town to visit the many excellent pubs and restaurants as it is only a minutes walk from the harbour. Padstow is full of charm with beautiful unspoilt harbour and a maze of picturesque narrow streets with many interesting shops and galleries as well as tea shops, patisserie, delicatessen - not forgetting several pasty shops! There are beaches both sides of the river estuary; only a few minutes walk on the Padstow side and a quick hop across the river on the ferry to get to Rock.

ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR: Entrance door direct from the street into Hallway slate floor, stairs to first floor Sitting room stripped floorboards, rug, 2 three seater settees, coffee table, cushioned window seat, t.v., video and dvd player, feature stone fireplace Dining room slate floor, bleached pine dining table, 6 chairs, feature stone fireplace (unused), french doors to courtyard Kitchen small galley kitchen, slate floor, range of units, built in electric oven, gas hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine FIRST FLOOR: landing on two levels, Bed.1 double bed (4'6"), cushioned window seat, t.v./video combi Bed.2 part limited headroom, double bed (4'6")  Both Bedrooms wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables Bathroom bath (hand-held shower over), basin, w.c., window seat GARDEN & PARKING:- No garden to speak of. To the rear is a teenie weenie courtyard, across the road is a dustbin and washing line area. No parking but there are 2 car parks within 500 yds. 2007 weekly tickets are Harbour Commissioners £25; District Council £21 (16/3/07 to 1/11/07 - can be used in all council car parks), £5 other times.  NB. neither guarantee spaces
