views. 't Sandt (the name means 'the Sands') is situated in an elevated
position on the cliffs of Porthcothan Bay, a delightful sheltered rocky
cove with a deep sandy beach, close to the cliff path with its spectacular
views. It is absolutely ideal for a beach family holiday - the beach is
only 2 minutes walk - surfing, walking or just a
'sitting-admiring-the-view' holiday! There is a pub and a small general
store in Porthcothan Bay but only 6 miles away is the picturesque town of
Padstow with quaint harbour, interesting shops and seafood restaurants.
Newquay, only 7 miles in the other direction, has a number of family
attractions including Newquay Zoo and Newquay Water World and is a mecca
for surfers the world over.
